Class 6JAE have had an exciting week at Into University! As well as learning about what university life entails, they have also been learning more about the field of engineering. During the week, they have looked at the different types of engineering that can be studied at university, as well as studying famous engineers and their accomplishments. On Tuesday, they visited Tower bridge to learn more about the structural engineering involved in its building, followed by a software engineering project where the children had the opportunity to code the opening and closing of a bridge. This amazing week culminated in a visit to Cambridge University, where the children graduated!
