On Tuesday, the year 5 children participated in the Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an internationally recognised examination provided by the Confucius Institute. The children demonstrated their knowledge of Mandarin that they have accumulated over their time at New City by demonstrating their reading, listening and writing skills. We are so proud of the Year 5s for their accomplishments in their language studies and their hard work in preparing for the test. We are excited for them to continue to progress next year. Well done!
