Thanks to Cumberland Secondary School, a group of Year 5 and 6 pupils were given the opportunity to experience secondary school life. They took part in two different Design and Technology lessons in which the Year 6 pupils designed and then made key rings using different tools and machines within an hour! The Year 5 pupils took part in a food tech lesson and improved their culinary skills and all came back with a large selection of scrumptious cookies!
The lessons were taught by the DT teachers at Cumberland and all the pupils came back with beaming smiles having had this fantastic opportunity to enhance their existing designing and making skills.
