The children set off in groups of 3 to find points within the set area of the park. They used their orienteering skills they have been learning in PE, map skills from Geography lessons, and even used maths skills to use the grid reference on their maps! The children were successful in locating each point and recognising how to orientate themselves using a map and a compass.
