Year 1 had an exciting History workshop from Pollock’s Toy Museum which is the oldest toy museum in the UK! We observed a 100 year old doll that had a face made out of clay because they didn’t have plastic back then. The toys that we looked at did not have batteries in them. We enjoyed playing with the fragile toys and seeing how they work. We even put the toys in chronological order!
