Celebrating European History

This term we have been celebrating European History. Please find attached photos of our competition winners and further information.

This term we have been celebrating European Heritage Month. Each year group studied a historical figure from Europe and learned why they are important and how their work has made an impact on the world.

Reception created some wonderful artwork based on Vincent Van Gogh’s, The Starry Night.

Year 1 researched the life and accomplishments of Leonardo Da Vinci. They enjoyed looking at some of his most famous paintings.

Year 4 researched the accomplishments of Frederick Chopin. They listened to Nocturnes and Etudes to get into the mood.

We also had a competition where the children chose a historical figure that has inspired them.

Our runners up are Diamond in 5Ra, Afrin in 5Ra and Sarah in 4P.

The winner is Aimee in 5Ra.
