Last week Year 5 and 6 had their second session with Brass Bands England. This particular session focussed on fanfares. After learning how to identify and play a fanfare, the children were split into small groups. This gave the children the opportunity to compose, practise and perform their composition to the rest of the class. The children's enthusiasm and creativity bloomed throughout the sessions and was evident from their skilled compositions. This was another great session as the children flourished and developed, socially, educationally and artistically.
