Art at New City

In Autumn 2, Year 3 children are looking at religious Hindu art. They have made an observational drawing of the Hindu deity Ganesh, God of prosperity and new beginnings. In Year 4 the children have made a new design of Ganesh. The children included symbols of prosperity and good fortune like rainbows, horse shoes, butterflies and four-leaf clover.
