At New City Primary School children had the opportunity to discuss similarities and differences across different faiths and express curiosity regarding other religions. Our year 4 children asked questions about Hinduism and how Hindu people celebrate Diwali and other festivals. They also talked about Islam and Christianity and compared different beliefs and celebrations. The aim of this activity was to enable children to foster a deeper understanding and tolerance of different religions and beliefs and to understand what makes one belong to a certain group.
