Our School

New City School was built in 1897 and has been a central part of the community ever since. In the last few years, the school has expanded its role with an Outreach Centre providing services for the community.

At the heart of the school are the children and the education they receive.

We focus on children learning the basic skills of English and Maths, while maintaining a broad and rich Foundation curriculum. Children are encouraged to be independent thinkers and problem solvers.

The school has always had a strong focus on children’s behaviours and relationships Visitors to the school often commend the children on their positive behaviours.
